Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Director of Partnerships for the Fashion in Gaming Awards. The Director of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships, creating and executing strategic plans, managing accounts, and driving sales initiatives. The role involves regularly communicating with partners to build and maintain strong, successful relationships.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Brand Partnership Experience

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • Experience in Strategic Partnerships and Strategic Planning for Events

  • Strong Account Management skills

  • Proven Sales skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Ability to work independently and remotely

  • Experience in the fashion or gaming industry is a plus

OVERVIEW:

 

Game-Changing Style and A.U.R.A. offer dynamic and challenging internship opportunities for students and graduates seeking experience in digital fashion product development, marketing, fashion PR, product research, merchandising, social media management, television and creative.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

FASHION IN GAMING RESEARCH ASSISTANT

The intern will analyze, including but not limited to character archetypes and fashion genres across gaming ecosystems
 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Genre-Specific Analysis:
     

    • Comparing in-game fashion mechanics 

    • Profile iconic characters 

    • Report writing

  • Market Trends:
     

    • Track UGC and skin sales for avatar items 

    • Study monetization of substyle niches 
       

Qualifications
 

  • Familiarity with character design principles 

  • Knowledge fashion in gaming subcultures

  • Avid gamer
     


DIGITAL FASHION INTERN

Want to be seen as an innovator in fashion? Curious about immersive technology and gaming platforms? This internship is designed primarily for college students and new college grads seeking experience particularly in digital fashion  in gaming.

Interns will have the opportunity to learn about digital fashion, innovation, and the gaming market. This internship offers an excellent overview of sample duties of a product development coordinator. From assisting with product data analysis to sponsorship and marketing research to social media management, this internship offers a diverse array of educational opportunities for the Fashion in Gaming Awards and Game-Changing Style.

All candidates should possess excellent writing skills and a profound interest in fashion and innovation. 3D design, fashion or gaming students are encouraged to apply.

Progress toward a B.A. or M.A. in Fashion, Mass Communication, or Game Design is preferred; we also welcome applicants pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in computer science, marketing, technology, graphic design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Market research data

  • Participate in research of competitor campaigns

  • Research appropriate events to cross-promote branding through participation

  • Assist in creative and market research to support brand identity

  • Assist in design feedback

  • Assist with planning of social media

  • Assist in creation of digital fashion products, gaming design and projects

  • Comfortable thinking visually; exceptional research and communication skills

  • Assist with Events Planning for collection launch

  • Assist with digital fashion non-profit, Gamers Over Guns and Fashion Entertainment Television Hub

  • Assist with creation of social media-related posts

  • Communicate with the press

  • Brand campaign projects

  • Proficient in basic photo/video editing skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask & work under tight deadlines.

  • Strong organizational Skills

Schedule:

  • 6+ Hours per week (flexible)

  • Weekly video calls (camera must be on)

Internship Duration:

Three Months (or as required by school)

  • Learns quickly, has a head for problem-solving

  • Must be comfortable working with Canva and Google Workspace 

  • Knowledge of Blender or Clo software a plus but not mandatory
